Today Bootylicious and I were debating the basic awesomeness of Superman as a superhero. His position seemed to be that Superman was pretty courageous and alright. My position was that Superman was a complete wuss. My supporting arguements:

1. Superman is not courageous, he just happens to live on a planet where he’s the strongest guy around. There’s nothing courageous about kicking the crap out of criminals when all then can do is fire GUNS at you. Although if it’s good enough for Superman, it’s good enough for me. Be right back, gonna go kick around a sack full of kittens for a while.
2. Ok, I’m back.
3. He’s not as fast as the Flash.
4. He’s not as smart as Batman.
5. He’s not as awesome as Wonder Woman, who consistently kicks his ass, isn’t vulnerable to red kryptonite, and makes the underwear-on-the-outside look good.
6. When he loses a fight, he runs and hides to write bad poetry and pine over Lois in the Fortress of Solitude. Or he just flees the entire planet. Which I believe is the premise of his next movie. Oh, the Man of Steel can’t fight evil today, he’s sad.

But you know, that sort of position is polarizing because nobody is ever really right. So I did what you’re always supposed to do in this situation: I asked Google.
